LOLita

Sometimes I just love making things that I know are a little bit costume-y and a little bit different. A mini top hat is a nod to a little bit of class with a little bit of sexy. Lolita in and of itself is well known for it's allure and fetish, but to me it's just goddamn adorable. Black lace, pearls, ribbon... these are most definitely a few of my favorite things.
To start I've made 2 hats and you can look forward to many more from me. ^^

I just LOVE this top hat. It is perfect for any lolita outfit or just cute for a night on the town! All hand sewn to a 4" felt black top hat base is a little bit of soft white fabric with flower illustrations, on top of that black lace, and around the inside crease white pearls,
glued down with diamond glaze.
To the back of the hat is one white silk rose. :]
Hidden are two bobby pins pushed
through the black felt,
making the hat easy to put anywhere you want. ^^

Such a cute mini top hat! A red plaid ribbon has been sewn onto a black felt top hat base, with a black silk ribbon around the top edge. In the back it's tied with a big bow, the ends trailing off the edge. Perfect for any punk lolita mood that strikes you! :]
2 bobby pins on either side of the bottom are pulled through the felt,
making it easy to pin the hat firmly to your hair.

So new blog! But this time for my jewelry and less for emo ranting. haha

Basically at this point in my etsy store I have expanded my range of media GREATLY. I used to just use your typical wire, jump-rings, beads, etc. But now I'm in love with making hair clips, mini top hats, wrist cuffs, and other wonderful fabric things. :]
Recently I was given some roving and a felting needle, so it's only a matter of time until I go to town with that. I'm putting it off a little bit, afraid once I start it will soon consume me, which usually happens when I start something new. ha

This blog was created for the sole purpose that I could bring my crafts to you, and if interested, keep you updated about my creative process and new obsessions. This blog may change a little once I get to college, as in, I may post once or twice about how many life drawings I have to do or how much I hate how busy I am but know that deep inside I will be the happiest I've ever been and that is why I am spending so little time updating this blog. haha

Soon I will upload this blog to my new soopsee account, and perhaps it will gain more viewers. Once I get it all up and running I'll be sure to start posting about my new 4" mini top hats which are SO cute and I looooove and I know you will love too. :)
